5 Best Touch Screen Vape Mods in 2024 – Reviews & Top Picks

Vaping has been popular for over a decade now, and in that time the technology has evolved massively. Nowadays, vapes have squonk technology, come in various shapes, and have different types of mods.

The biggest technological jump is perhaps the addition of screens, especially touch screens. They’re a far cry from the bland, cigarette-style pens that started the technology all those years ago.

These vape mods with touch screens even have their own customization hardware, and it’s what most people look for when they buy their new system. In this article, I’ll give you five of my favorite touch screen mods.

At A Glance: Our Top Picks for Best Touch Screen Vape Mods

If you’re in a hurry, you can jump straight into our top picks (these are the touch screen vape mods that most people buy).

  • Smok G-Priv 2 Top Pick
  • Dejavu DJV D7 Runner-up
  • AsMODus Minikin V2 Runner-up

Top 5 Best Touch Screen Vape Mods – Our Reviews:

1. Smok G-Priv 2

The G-Priv 2 comes with a large touch screen, measuring in at 2”. The screen is extremely bright and vivid, with a plain black backdrop which allows it to blend seamlessly into the main body of the piece.

It comes with two buttons: a trigger button and a lock. This is a nice design and leaves the G-Priv in the interesting position of being multi-functional while also being quite minimalist.

It’s one of the stronger models here, operating up to 230 watts—this is easily altered on the touch screen, a cool feature that makes the system seem even more futuristic.

There’s a lot to enjoy here and little to complain about.

Admittedly, this Smok mod is very large, but not to the extent it’s so big you’ll feel self-conscious using it. It’s approximately 3.5” tall, 1” thick, and around 2” wide.

If you’re in the market for a box mod though, generally speaking, a large size is to be expected.

Pros

  • Easy-to-use touch screen
  • Stylish design

Cons

  • Quite large, not the most portable system out there

2. Dejavu DJV D7

This is a great little bit of kit and is probably the most durable piece you can buy. The Dejavu DJV D7 is manufactured from military-grade blasting material, so you know it can handle being dropped on a night out.

Featuring a crisp HD touch screen, it’s a very easy piece to operate, and the menu system is simple to navigate. One of my favorite features is the large square button which is operable regardless of how you hold it.

As you probably expected, this is a huge piece and is very heavy, largely due to the material it’s made from.

This does bump the price up quite a bit, but I would recommend it. Yes, it costs more, at around $90, but I guarantee it lasts longer than most of the alternatives you buy from a lower price.

Pros

  • Very resilient
  • Simple to use

Cons

  • Extremely large and heavy
  • Very expensive

3. AsMODus Minikin V2

This mod comes from AsMODus, who isn’t a big brand but is a favorite of those in the know.

The Minikin V2 is powered by two 18650 batteries and operates at a huge range, between 5 watts and 180 watts.

Although the touch screen is small, it’s very easy to use, and the interface is simple. It features only one button, adding to the minimalism of the piece.

I like this piece a lot, but it is quite expensive at around $75.

Pros

  • One of the easiest pieces to operate
  • Nice minimalist design

Cons

  • Doesn’t offer a lot for its price

4. Vaporesso Luxe 220

The Vaporesso Luxe 220 is a beautiful piece and a lot cheaper than its appearance would have you believe at $70.

This shiny mod features a 2” screen with curved edges and a micro USB slot for quick charging. It operates, like most, with a dual 18650 battery system and features a minimalist interface.

Despite its supposedly simple operating system, it does feature a lot more below the surface, such as safety measures and a locking system.

The fire-up speed is rapid, but the shiny surfaces do mean it attracts fingerprints like you wouldn’t believe.

Pros

  • Stunning design
  • Very easy to operate

Cons

  • Gets dirty so easily
  • Very susceptible to fingerprints

5. Smok Morph

That’s right—another Smok piece. Smok is one of the leading brands on the market, with good reason, and the Morph doesn’t disappoint.

Operating up to 219 watts from two 18650 batteries, this is a great vape and one I’d recommend to all types of vapers.

Despite its size and stainless steel construction, it isn’t as heavy as you’d expect.

It features a large touch screen and is available in five different colors, including gold, black, and red. The color matches the tank and the body, giving it a breathtaking presence comparable to very little else on the market.

I’m a huge fan of this vape mod and would recommend it to all. The main flaw is that the steel is quite susceptible to scratching, like the screen, but if you’re careful this shouldn’t be an issue.

Pros

  • Very strong wattage
  • Striking colorways

Cons

  • Likely to get scratches

Final Thoughts

Given where vape technology currently is and how the ‘vape culture’ is thriving, I think it’s foolish not to buy one with a touch screen. The technology is very useful and adds another layer of user experience.

Although the large screens are not for everyone, they’re a sign of the times and show that vape technology still hasn’t reached its endpoint. A screen is often the mark of a high-quality system, as it shows the manufacturers have put extra time and care into creating a quality product, quite often at the same price as a high-quality product without a screen.

Any of these vape mods will serve you well, and they’re all around the same price point. If these are too heavy for your pocket, there are of course vape mods available for less than $100 and some of them also have a touch screen—don’t expect the same quality as these pieces though.

Decide which design is to your preference and you’re all set.
